Detailed 14 Days Uganda Rwanda and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala & drive to Kibale
Meet with an experienced driver guide from Flawless Adventure Planners Ltd and this will be at your respective hotel facility in Entebbe City or Kampala. Today, you will have a briefing about this long East Africa safari and this will be after you have had a tasty cup of tea/coffee. After, all your luggage will be packed in your 4×4 safari vehicle ready for your journey to Kibale National Park in Western Uganda.
Driving to Kibale will involve taking the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal route with a chance to have a glance at Matiri Forest, the scenic tea farms, and the legendary Rwenzori Mountains. A short break in Fort Portal will be part of today’s 5-6 hours drive journey and this will be to let you have a delicious meal.
From Fort Portal tourism city, proceed on a scenic Kamwenge route characterized by vast banana plantations and crater lakes. On arrival, continue to your respective lodges for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Wetland tour
As early as 6:00 am, you should have had your breakfast and prepared to leave your lodge for briefing in Kanyanchu Visitor Centre in Kibale National Park. At the visitor center, you will be cleared at the reception before joining the briefing room. The briefing will take about 30 minutes then you will be allocated park ranger guides. At around 8:00 am, you and the park guide will depart for the actual guided walk to search for a habituated chimpanzee community in Kibale.
The guided chimp trek in Kibale will go for 2-4 hours but this covers an hour for you to explore more about chimps’ behaviors at the close range of 8-10 meters. The hour also includes a photography session and after, begin trekking back to where you started your chimp trek from.
Kibale boasts 13 primate species with the highest population of about 1500 chimpanzees. It is truly the primate capital of the world, and due to its endowment, expect to encounter other primates such as the red-tailed monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, bush babies, and black & white colobus monkeys. Kibale also protects over 375 species of birds most of which will be spotted during the trek or at the Kanyanchu.
During the afternoon session, expect to explore Bigodi Wetland which is set right on the eastern edge of Kibale National Park. You will have a rewarding guided walk through Bigodi, a great opportunity for you to explore a variety of birds, and mammals, especially primates, and many others. From Bigodi, return to your respective accommodation to relax and have a night’s stay.

Day 3: Kibale via Queen Elizabeth Park to Bwindi
Today, you will depart from Kibale for Bwindi and this will include driving via Queen Elizabeth National Park –Uganda’s 2nd largest park. In the Southern end of Queen Elizabeth Park, expect to enjoy a brief game drive which will allow you to explore the tree-climbing lions plus other mammals. From the Ishasha sector, you will continue to your respective accommodation for a night stay in Bwindi.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and rest
A delicious cup of tea/coffee be enjoyed at your respective lodges and after, you will gather at the park offices for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules. You will also be assigned to a habituated gorilla group to visit in a group of 8 guests led by an experienced park ranger guide. The actual trek will start at 8:00 am and will go for 2-6 hours inclusive of an hour for up close and personal interaction with a family of Bwindi mountain gorillas in their natural environment. From Bwindi jungles, walk back and you will have a long evening at the lodge.

Day 5: Visit the Batwa community & drive to Kigali
Have breakfast and at around 8:00 am, proceed to the Batwa community with the local guide. The Batwa community visit guarantees you a thrilling and educative cultural experience about the Batwa pygmies. After, you will be transferred to Kigali. In case of early arrival, expect to pay a visit to the Kigali/Gisozi genocide site- an officially recognized UNESCO site. This heritage site provided deep insight into the 1994 Rwanda genocide.

Day 6: Fly from Kigali to Kilimanjaro then drive to Arusha
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, depart from your hotel for Kigali airport where you will catch up with the flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. At Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet our company representative to be transferred to your respective hotel property in Arusha.
Day 7: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Game Park
Set off from Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park the birders paradise and also home to the unique tree-climbing lions. On arrival, get a warm welcome from the park’s charming Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara, and the lush landscape of the park itself.
Day 8: Lake Manyara Park to Serengeti
After breakfast, leave your accommodation to enjoy a guided game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. The guided game drive will expose you to the diversity of animals including the tree-climbing lions, zebras, buffaloes, and some primates like the blue monkeys and baboons.
Return to have lunch then you will connect to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is endowed with different animals and is most popular for its annual Great Migration, Big 5 game, and birds.
Day 9: Full-day Serengeti Wildlife Safari
A hefty breakfast be enjoyed at the comfort of your lodge and then set off for a game drive. Appreciate the spectacular landscape of Serengeti characterized by acacia woodland, and short grass plains where you will be exposed to a diversity of wildlife. The expected wildlife to encounter on the Serengeti game drive includes the cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, and rhinos.

Day 10: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Area
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, drive to Ngorongoro. En route, you may branch off to Olduvai Gorge then proceed to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro is endowed with wildlife including buffaloes, elephants, black rhinos, spotted hyenas, gazelles, cheetahs, lions, and many birds.
Day 11: Explore Ngorongoro wonders
A hot cup of tea/coffee enjoyed early morning and after, set off for Ngorongoro long day exploration. This brings you the ultimate wildlife encounter from the Big 5 game to small mammals and birds. After the long day game viewing session in Ngorongoro, drive back to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 12: Fly from Seronera to Zanzibar
Have breakfast and after, check out of the lodge. Drive to Seronera Airport for you to take a flight to Zanzibar.
Day 13: Explore the Zanzibar Island
A full day will be dedicated for you to explore and experience Zanzibar. You can be at the beach, engage in snorkeling or diving adventures, or just chill at the boutique hotel.
